8 Court Square building is nearly complete and features variety of eFlow-products for automatically balanced and controlled ventilation.
8 Court Square is a 20-story residential tower located at 27-10 44th Drive in Long Island City, NY. This 224-foot-tall structure will yield 107,377 square feet of residential space spread across 157 units, as well as 10,170 square feet for commercial space.
eFlow-CARs 4″ at 25 CFM were installed in every apartment exhaust. eFlow-CAR 6″ high pressure (0.6″w.c.-2.4″w.c.) at 125 CFM in wall mount fire damper assemblies were utilized for supply application. e2Flow PLUS system was installed to control on demand high airflow. e2Flow PLUS is exclusive to eFlow and it’s used as ZRT alternative solution.
8 Court Square was developed by 25-34 Jackson Avenue Property Owner LLC, designed by Hill West Architects and Cauldwell Wingate Company is the general contractor on record. Installation of eFlow-Products was undertaken by PI mechanical.
The manufacturers representative, SRS Enterprises, Inc, facilitated the sale of eFlow products for this project.
8 Court Square is expected to be completed in 2023.
Flow-CAR FACTS
eFlow-CAR is a simple solution to balancing ventilation systems. Constant Airflow Regulator is a device that automatically regulates airflows in ventilation systems to constant levels. Flow-CAR Fire Damper Assembly FACTS
eFlow-CAR is inserted in a heavy-gauge galvanized steel enclosure that is designed to accommodate installation of fire damper and standard aluminum grille. eFlow-CAR is removable from the assembly to allow for easy CFM adjustment. Each enclosure is designed to specifically accommodate eFlow-CAR and expertly welded to prevent unwanted air leakage. The assembly is custom sized for each project.
