New Residential Building at 63 Pitt Street on Manhattan’s Lower East Side Features eFlow-Constant Airflow Regulators for Improved Indoor Air Quality and Energy Efficiency.
A newly completed 12-story residential building located at 63 Pitt Street on Manhattan’s Lower East Side features cutting-edge eFlow-Constant Airflow Regulators for automatically balanced ventilation, ensuring improved indoor air quality and energy efficiency for its 59 rental apartments. The building, designed by Frank Quatela Architects and developed by Paul Stallings of 6 Strong Realty LLC, includes 18 homes designated for affordable housing, providing much-needed housing options for the community. The property was built in 2022, with First Standard Construction serving as the general contractor.
The eFlow Constant Airflow Regulators, which were installed throughout the building, are designed to ensure that each apartment has consistent airflow and ventilation, even as conditions within the building and individual units change. This helps to maintain a comfortable living environment while also improving indoor air quality and energy efficiency. The technology is particularly important in high-rise buildings, where air pressure differences can create imbalances in airflow. eFlow-CAR’s 3″ and 4″ were installed utilizing custom 6″ x 6″ and 8″ x 8″ CAR mounting plate for exhaust application.
