Installation of eFlow-Constant Airflow Regulators is complete at Claremont Hall!
Claremont Hall located at 100 Claremont Ave is a luxury mixed-use academic and residential building adjacent to the Columbia University campus in the heart of Manhattan’s Morningside Heights neighborhood.
Developed by Lendlease and L+M Development Partners and designed by Robert A.M. Stern Architects and SLCE Architects, this 41 story building offers 165 units of modern living spaces with high-end amenities and features.
This building was designed as a sustainable building, utilizing the latest technologies and leading the way to reducing carbon footprint. As a result Claremont Hall earned LEED Certification.
One of the innovative technologies installed in the building during its construction was the eFlow-Constant Airflow regulator. eFlow-CARs were installed in each of the building’s residential units, allowing for continuous ventilation and ensuring a healthy indoor environment for residents.
The eFlow-Constant Airflow Regulator is a cutting-edge device that ensures consistent airflow in a building’s ventilation system, regardless of external factors such as wind or pressure changes. This ensures that the indoor air quality remains consistent, even in high-rise buildings like 100 Claremont Ave, which are more susceptible to fluctuations in air pressure.
By installing eFlow-Constant Airflow Regulators, 100 Claremont Ave provides its residents with several benefits, including improved indoor air quality, reduced energy consumption, and increased cost savings. eFlow-CAR is a simple solution to balancing ventilation systems. Constant Airflow Regulator is a device that automatically regulates airflows in ventilation systems to constant levels. The passive control element responds to duct pressure, and requires no electric sensors, pneumatic sensors or controls. eFlow-CARs promote high indoor air quality and energy savings.
