eFlow is proud to once again be part of an affordable housing project. eFlow Constant Airflow Regulators were installed at The Tannery affordable housing building located at Peabody, MA as part of a $17 million renovation project.
eFlow-Constant Airflow Regulator (CAR) is a low-cost solution to balancing ventilation systems and eliminating the need for on-site balancing. Installing eFlow-CARs insures automatically balanced airflow, high indoor quality and energy savings.
The Tannery is located in the historic Leather City section of Peabody Massachusetts. Originally built in the late 1800’s, The Tannery was previously home to the AC Lawrence Leather Company. The property was initially converted to affordable housing in the 1970’s. The recent $49.3M rehabilitation of The Tannery preserves Peabody’s affordable housing stock for a new generation and involves the extensive renovation of 284 units. There are 20 studio apartments, 234 one-bedroom apartments and 30 two-bedroom apartments contained in three residential buildings.
